The Museum of Prints and Drawings (Kupferstichkabinett) at the Kulturforum is home to a universe of art on paper. It houses masterpieces by Sandro Botticelli, Albrecht Dürer, Rembrandt, Adolph Menzel, and Vincent van Gogh, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner and Pablo Picasso, and Andy Warhol and Gerhard Richter. It contains works from 1000 years of the history of art, culture, and the media, ranging from the Middle Ages to the present day.

The Kulturforum is one of the most important cultural centre for arts in Berlin. It includes the New National Gallery (Neue Nationalgalerie), the Picturegallery (Gemäldegalerie), the Museum of Decorative Arts (Kunstgewerbemuseum) and other museums, the Philharmonic and the State Library.
